Northern Ireland’s The Bonnevilles, Andrew McGibbon Jr Guitar and Vocals and Chris McMullan Drums, have announced they are studio bound to record their long awaited follow up to “Good Suits & Fighin’ Boots”, the album that set them firmly among their peers, gave them a worldwide fan base and saw them share stage with legends like T-Model Ford, Bob Log and Scott H Biram.
Anybody who knows the band know they self categorise as Garage Punk Blues and in keeping with their old school ethos and being the hardest working band in the business, they have been busy touring and gigging in the gap between albums to perfect them live and on stage before committing to wax. A lot of the new record titled, FOLK ART & THE DEATH OF ELECTRIC JESUS, is already established as live favourites. Songs like 10’000 and Kneel At The Alter have become the first songs to get on their set list so this album should quickly become essential listening for old and new fans alike.
